About The Collective

The Good + Plenty Arts Collective is a non-profit organization committed to creating more opportunities for women, 2Spirit, non-binary and gender-expansive individuals within the Manitoba music and music production industry.

We put on music-centred community events, artistic and business workshops and training, networking mixers, mentorship, opportunities for showcasing, and peer knowledge sharing.

The music production and audio industries have historically been male-dominated fields, which is why we seek to remove obstacles and provide resources for those who have been pushed to the margins to have their voices heard.

Studies* show that less than 5% of the songs we hear on the charts have a non-male credit on the track. We want to change this
