What sort of vibe will this event have?​

The mixer: this portion of the event is a laid-back, chill opportunity to mix and mingle with other musicians, producers, industry, and music lovers. There will be free food and beverages for you to snack on while catching up with friends or making new ones.

The showcase: for this portion of the event, attendees are invited to sit back, relax, and listen deeply to the songs being showcased. Each producer will have an opportunity to share about their track, and afterwards receive short, encouraging feedback from attendees. You are more than welcome to continue snacking throughout this portion!

 

What if I don't know anyone, but still really want to come? 

You absolutely should!!!!!!! Good + Plenty organizers will be mixing about in their Good + Plenty t-shirts, and you are more than welcome to hang out with any of us for the evening! Feel free to even hit us up on Instagram prior to the event if you want one of us to meet you at the door. Additionally, feel free to bring a non-music friend if you want the company!

I'm under 18, what can I expect?

This is an all ages event, which means it is also a dry event, so there will be no alcohol on the premises. Two members of our organizing team will be designated as the Youth Mentors for the evening, and will be keeping a special eye out for our under 18 community. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend this event. Please note: while this is an all ages event, it is more suited for teens and adults as opposed to small children. We gently request that you leave small children at home, unless they're a babe in arms :)

What is THE OUTPUT @ VIDEO POOL?

The Output is the venue space at Video Pool Media Arts Centre in the Exchange District of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The venue is on the 2nd floor of the Artspace Building which is located at 100 Arthur. There is an elevator inside the building, as well as a wheelchair lift at the West entrance of the building (entrance off King St.).
