ABOUT THE GOOD + PLENTY PRODUCER'S CLUB

The Good + Plenty Producer's Club is a space for Manitoba's women, trans, and non-binary producers and audio engineers to learn, share, encourage, and grow. The USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative released in 2020 stated that less than 2% of producers in North America are women. This number is even smaller for trans and non-binary producers. In Winnipeg and Manitoba specifically there are very few women, trans, and non-binary producers and audio engineers working in the recording industry. The Good + Plenty Producer's club seeks to be a safe place for gender minorities to interact (on Instagram and through our Facebook group) by sharing knowledge, encouraging, providing resources, and supporting one another. The group will also be working as a collective to find ways to mentor the next generation of up-and-coming music producers.

JOIN THE CLUB

The Good + Plenty Producer's Club is non-exclusive and welcoming of all identities, though seeks to centre the voices of women, trans, non-binary, BIPOC artists and artists living with disabilities. The G+P Producer's Club functions as a democratic collective where each member has a voice, can interact as much as desired, and can post as desired or host their own workshops or projects under the G+P name. The Good + Plenty Producer's Club is also welcoming of those who have interest in music production or audio engineering but have no previous experience or knowledge--all are welcome to participate and learn together. Join the club on Facebook to get involved!
